Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NoWasteMart customer mobile app and website (the “Service”) operated by NoWasteMart. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
NoWasteMart connects shoppers with participating stores offering near-expiry and discounted groceries. We provide the marketplace platform. Product availability, pricing, and fulfillment (pickup or delivery) are provided by participating stores unless we expressly state otherwise.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You may delete your account from within the customer app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users or stores.
Orders, pricing, and payments
- Prices and stock are set by stores and may change. An order is confirmed when the store accepts it (or as otherwise shown in the app).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By checking out, you authorize the charge for your order and any applicable fees shown before you pay.
- Refunds, cancellations, and substitutions are handled according to the store’s policies and any options we show in the app. Contact support if something goes wrong.
Pickup and delivery
Pickup times and delivery windows are estimates. Delivery availability depends on the store and your address. You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and being available for pickup or delivery as required.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Service, scrape it unreasonably, or interfere with its operation.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, stores, or systems.
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harass stores or other users.
Permissions
The app may request camera (barcode scanning), location (nearby stores and delivery), and notifications (order updates). You can deny these permissions; some features may be limited.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every listing is accurate, or that food will meet your expectations. Food safety and product condition remain the responsibility of the selling store. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoWasteMart is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid through the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) AUD $100, except where liability cannot be limited.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
